How Bash Creative Uses AI to Protect What Matters Most… Humans

Here we are in 2026, and if you haven’t yet heard a company talk about their AI strategy, give it five minutes. In fact, you may even be sick of hearing about AI. In some ways, we are too. But instead of lending our voice and perspective to the conversation too early, we wanted to wait until we had something important to share. The way we’ve approached this conversation about AI says everything about who we are.

Bash Creative is a corporate event strategy and production agency, and at the center of everything we do is HUMAN CONNECTION, and that will never change for us. So when we decided to enable our company with AI, we were deliberate about it in a way that only a company and mission built around people could. This blog introduces BABS, our internal AI engine, explains why we built it, what it actually does, and most importantly, what it never will do. If you’re curious about intentional AI use in the corporate event industry, or even just in business, this one’s for you.

What Is BABS?

BABS is the human name that was given to Bash Creative’s identity at the inception of our company in 2017, long before an AI system existed. As two business owners, Annalee & Danielle, were merging their individual companies at the time, naming the persona and essence of what they were building together gave space for Bash to decouple from their own identities.

“Giving Bash its own name and character allowed us to ask ‘what would BABS do?’ versus ‘what would you do?’ and honestly it allowed us to make better, quicker, and more evergreen decisions about the company we were building. We also gave BABS a gender, even though we tend to be gender neutral in all of our comms. We are proud to be a woman built and owned company so BABS is very much female. We want her to have a feminine edge, care, and guiding light. It feel more authentic to the BABS persona we created when we formed our company.” – Annalee, Founder & CEO

When the opportunity came to build an internal AI engine specifically to enable the Bash Team to uplevel their workflows, the name was the only one that made sense. BABS is a strategic co-pilot trained on everything Bash is. The voice, the values, the production systems, the sales philosophy, the brand standards, and the leadership character behind the company. It thinks in Bash’s voice. It operates inside Bash’s standards. It exists entirely in service of the team.

Here are the 5 steps we took to get BABS where she is today:

1. Why We Built BABS

We’ve been watching the corporate event industry shift in real time, and we weren’t interested in being reactive about it. AI is changing how events are conceived, planned, and executed. Auto-generated concepts, AI-driven logistics platforms, automated vendor sourcing. The industry is moving fast, and our position wasn’t to resist that shift but to get intentional about it before it got away from us. The question we kept coming back to was: if we’re a company whose entire purpose is human connection, how do we bring in AI without undermining that? The answer was already in the name. BABS, the identity, the standard, the soul of Bash, already existed. The work was to build a system that could hold it, protect it, and put it to work for the team. Something proprietary, built from the ground up, trained on who Bash actually is.

2. What BABS Actually Does

BABS powers these systems at Bash:

  • Primary Avatar / Brand Intelligence: Holds Bash’s voice, tone, mission, and standards so the whole team has a tool that supports them specifically with the work they do for Bash.
  • Production: Supports the production team with upholding brand standards no matter the seniority on the team, with note-taking, task assigning, contract review, renderings, and evaluating logistics workflows. She supports planning with data entry into our proprietary trackers, budgets, templates, and execution workflows. We’ve even created an agent trained to answer WWDD, or “What Would Danielle Do?”so at any time our team can pull in executive-level thinking or validation without the bottleneck of waiting for a response from our most creative and valuable mind.  It captures the instincts and decision-making of our irreplaceable production leader.
  • Research Agent: Conducts deep market research, data validation, vendor alignment, and strategic analysis across multiple modes
  • Sales Copilot: Supports client matchmaking, outreach opportunities, proposal assembly, RFP dissection, objection training, and pipeline management.

“BABS transforms chaos into clarity; it breaks down logistics into actionable plans, thinks long-term, and most importantly allows our team to work more in their superpowers than their opportunities, making the work they do more enjoyable as well as efficient.” Danielle, Owner & Director of Event Operations

3. BABS Keeps the Bash Voice Consistent

One of the quieter but more important things BABS does is protect our brand at every touchpoint.

“As our business scales to meet the needs of our growing client roster, something we risk is brand dilution. This is a big challenge for small to medium companies who, in some ways, are still bootstrapping their operations. We have a very strong brand that we have intentionally built over the years. For every employee we bring on, we expand with their personalities and experience, but we want to ensure that what is core to Bash remains strong in their individual voices.” Annalee, Founder & CEO

When you’re a growing team working across multiple clients, proposals, campaigns, and communication channels at once, brand drift is real. Language gets inconsistent. Tone shifts. The brand standard slips, even when no one means it to. It’s normal with human interpretation. BABS carries the full weight of Bash’s identity and integrity. She knows how we sound, what we stand for, how we position our work, and what means the most to our clients. When a team member needs to write a proposal, dive deep into research, visually express an idea, or weigh the data, BABS is the first layer.

4. BABS Makes the Team More Human, Not Less

BABS handles the complexity so our people don’t carry it alone. It absorbs the operational weight, the research, the drafting, the logistics scaffolding, so the Bash team can spend their time on what only humans can do AND on what they enjoy most. Achieving client goals, reading the room, making judgment calls, and caring deeply about the outcome. The events we produce make company culture visible. They are moments where companies invest in their people and ask us to make it matter. That kind of work requires human presence, human empathy, and human creativity. BABS makes more room for all of that.

“Our mission as a company is to promote and protect human-to-human connection. So when we decided to build BABS it was important for us to ensure we were indexing towards creating a tool that will allow our team to have more opportunities and time to collaborate together while letting the tool take on more of the work that pulls each into their own silo.” Annalee, Founder & CEO

That’s the philosophy. AI as the system that clears the path so the humans can do the work that actually moves people.

5. What BABS Is Not

BABS is not a replacement for the Bash team. It does not attend events, build relationships, or make the calls that require human judgment and lived experience. It also does not represent Bash to the outside world. It is an internal tool, keyword here is tool.

“When Annalee and I started this company and committed to growing our agency, we wanted to build a place we have always wanted to work. A place that respects our individual lives, allows for creative liberty, supports us in exercising our superpowers, and guides us through our opportunities for improvement. So when bringing AI into the mix, these principles were still at the core of what we wanted to build.” Danielle, Owner & Director of Event Operations

We are facilitators of human-to-human connection. That is our purpose and our promise. No AI, including ours, will ever replace the humans we serve or the humans on our team. We built BABS specifically to protect that truth, not work around it.

Here’s What Building BABS Taught Us

“First and foremost, we did not come into this venture as AI experts. So I really did not see an opportunity to enable Bash with AI until I met Jonathan Foltz from Collective Technologies. We were both speakers at a conference in Portugal in December of 2025 and listening to hims speak about the extreme multiplicity AI enablement brings to your company, the fact that only 1% of companies were currently AI enabled, AND his mission to building ethical AI for companies making a better world, I became extremely inspired and knew we had found the partner that could help us bring our vision to life. Then he introduced us to his business partner Umer Hadeed and on our first call we discovered the two of them are male versions of the two of us. It has been a hilarious joke ever since. Both Danielle and I felt seen, we gain trust quickly, and they continue to help us build and multiply our vision when it comes to enabling our team. This is all to say, you cannot do this alone and you should find a partner that deeply identifies with your company mission.” Annalee, Founder & CEO

Building a proprietary AI system from the inside out is not a small undertaking. It required us to articulate who we are at a level of depth and specificity we hadn’t done before in a single place. Working with Collective Technologies really gave us the mirror we needed to refine our brand and who we have become at Bash.

We had to document our voice, our values, our production logic, our sales philosophy, our brand standards, and our leadership character, all clearly enough that a system could learn from it. In doing that, we got sharper about ourselves. We closed gaps we didn’t know were there. We built documentation that now makes onboarding faster, execution more consistent, and the entire team more aligned.

The team uses it every day now, across proposals, production planning, research, general business operations, and brand writing. She’s become part of how we operate. And the more the team trusts it with the operational complexity, the more capacity they have for the creative and relational work that defines what Bash actually delivers.

How Does Bash Use AI Differently?

Most companies adopt AI tools and bolt them onto existing workflows. We built BABS from the inside out, starting with our identity, our values, and our mission. The difference is intention. AI that knows who you are works differently than AI that doesn’t. It protects your voice, accelerates your team, and keeps every output aligned with what you actually stand for.

“When we work with innovators like Google, Anthropic, and other teams shaping the future of work, we do not have the luxury of staying comfortable. We have to stay curious, sharp, and honest about how technology can make us better. For us, AI is not about replacing the human layer. It is about giving our team stronger tools, cleaner information, and more capacity to exceed client expectations in the moments that matter most.” – Danielle, Owner & Director of Event Operations

We’re not a tech company. We’re an event strategy and production agency that believes gathering is one of the most powerful things a company can do. BABS exists to make sure we show up to that work as the sharpest, most aligned version of ourselves, every single time.

Take our hand. We know the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Intentional AI Use in Corporate Event Planning?
Intentional AI use means bringing AI into your business with a clear philosophy about what it should and should not do. In corporate event planning, that means using AI to support your team’s capacity, protect your brand, and streamline operations, without allowing it to replace the human judgment, creativity, and connection that make events meaningful.

How Is BABS Different from Other AI Tools for Event Teams?
BABS is a proprietary system built specifically on Bash Creative’s knowledge base, voice, and values. Unlike off-the-shelf AI tools, she doesn’t operate generically. She knows Bash’s brand standards, production systems, sales strategy, and leadership voice, which means every output she supports is aligned with who Bash is, not just what’s efficient.

Can AI Replace Human Connection in Corporate Events?
No, and it shouldn’t try. The value of a well-executed corporate event is deeply human. It lives in the energy of the room, the quality of the relationships formed, and the way people feel when they leave. AI can help a team move faster and execute with more precision, but the connection itself has to be created by people. That’s a line Bash will not cross.

At Bash Creative we don’t just expertly manage logistics. We curate experiences that strategically align to your company’s vision and goals to transform your guests into brand evangelists.
