The Challenge
Swipe Up Creator Summit marked a major milestone for Later Media. This was their first inaugural large scale hosted conference, bringing together 100+ VIP attendees from a community they had cultivated through years of smaller nationwide events.
As their first event at this scale, the team needed structure for a larger production environment. Budget was constrained. Internal stakeholders were watching closely. Tech and AV decisions in particular carried weight, and the internal lead felt the pressure of getting it right.
They were not looking to hand over the event. They wanted to own it. But they needed frameworks, industry insight, and seasoned perspective to ensure their first large conference delivered on its potential.

The Solution
Later Media engaged Bash Creative through a personalized Bash Strategy Studio, working directly with an event executive.
The engagement began as a strategic assessment of both the event and the internal team. We evaluated their north star, which centered on content, attendee engagement goals, venue flow, and production feasibility. We pressure tested ideas, identified where scale would introduce complexity, and educated the team on where to invest energy early.
Key areas of support included:
- Venue and in-house AV contract review, identifying negotiation opportunities and concessions to optimize budget
- Tech and AV decision frameworks to reduce risk and increase on-site confidence
- Attendee engagement planning assessment
- Production flow evaluation and venue layout considerations
- Budget-informed guidance to avoid overbuilding
Following a successful Strategy Studio engagement, Later Media expanded the partnership to include limited pre-production logistics hours. Bash created a customized production planner, shared vetted vendor recommendations, and continued contract reviews to strengthen internal execution.
When the event approached, Bash joined on-site as supplemental support. Extra eyes. Extra hands. Clear hierarchy. We focused especially on Tech and AV, ensuring ownership was defined and that the internal lead felt confident navigating the show flow in real time.
The event remained Later Media’s execution. Bash’s role was to reinforce, guide, and steady.
Outcome
Later Media successfully launched their first large-scale hosted conference with clarity and control. Strategic contract reviews and negotiation support contributed to meaningful budget optimization. More importantly, the internal team walked into the event feeling prepared. They had tools. They had structure. They understood what mattered most.
This event brought together a community that had been built over years and elevated it into a flagship experience. What began as a targeted strategy evolved into deeper trust. After experiencing the impact of Bash Strategy Studio and supplemental support, Later Media chose to re-engage Bash Creative for on-site support at a subsequent 2026 event.
This partnership demonstrates the power of meeting clients where they are. Sometimes that means full-service production. Sometimes it means strengthening the internal team so they can lead with confidence. In this case, it meant empowering a first-time large-scale conference to feel anything but first-time.
