In honor of the international month of LOVE we here at Bash Creative want to share with you our version of a love letter. Curious who the recipient is?
Well, here’s a little clue:
Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
The place we call home,
needs to renew.
We’ve neglected our canyons and creeks,
glaciers and grasslands.
When are we going to truly take a stand?
Climates are red
Oceans are blue

Yep, you guessed it! We’re a not-so-secret admirer of Planet Earth, Mother Nature,
Greek Goddess Gaea - she goes by many names. Similar to the format of our 12 Days of Kindness initiative, we’ve designed a new, activity-filled “event” focused on fostering employee connections through conserving our planet. “Restore Our Earth” was inspired by the call from Earthday.org, so we created this virtual event initiative to encourage corporate participation on Earth Day (April 22), while bringing employees together for a fun and educational virtual event!
Truly a labor of love - this virtual event includes a week-long collective pledge to be better at caring for our planet through a variety of activities that will inspire and excite your employees.
It’s been designed for corporate teams of any size who are looking to enhance their company culture through virtual events, but in an impactful, sustainable way. Additionally, it’s also designed with the attendee experience in mind, allowing flexible participation, time to be off-screen, and opportunities to include their COVID pod or family. Calendar of Activities
Picture a custom-designed micro-site with a beautifully branded calendar that your employees can browse through and participate in specific daily challenges.
A unique variety of virtual activities (tasks) are available to the participant in three categories: For the Planet, For the Community, and For the Home. Activities may include gamification opportunities, for example - employees can take a quick break from work to play a purposeful video game created by NASA that identifies and classifies species of coral to collectively achieve ocean conservation efforts. Others could include cleaning up your local park or beach, trying a plant-based diet for the week, crafting sessions with up-cycled materials as well as participating in composting and recycling workshops.
Key Takeaways
Currently, many of the activities we do to “stay in touch” with our colleagues are quite passive. Additionally, many personal daily tasks have convenience in mind, rather than purpose. So, we are promoting intention for both areas to really get the most out of this unique initiative! All activities are designed to be completed virtually, eliminating the need to ship kits and keep the impact of this initiative to an absolute minimum. However, if desired - a physical ‘Conservation Kit’ can be created and designed with sustainability and our planet in mind.
