Women's History Month: Vendor Spotlight
At Bash Creative, we have the great pleasure of working with many partners to ensure successful events throughout the United States and globally. Many of these partnerships come from across the country, but we are also lucky enough to have some here in our backyard in the beautiful Bay Area. In celebration of Women's History Month, we are putting the spotlight on some very special female business owners who we are proud to collaborate with on our client events.
Encore Events Rentals Owner and President, Bridget Doherty, has built a successful business, leading by example. She inspires those around her to work hard, be nice, and always gain more from life! While her work ethic inspires us, what we admire most about this motivated lady, is that she also finds time to sit on numerous boards and continually gives back to her local community. Bridget would say Encore’s guiding light is people and community, but their most valuable asset is their ability to be agile and nimble which allows them to meet specific demands that larger rental companies are often challenged by. With agility as one of our core pillars, this also makes them a perfect partner for Bash and our clients who like to stay nimble.
The Plant Library was born out of a need for something different - something that could add a new and exciting layer of decor to the event world. The business was started by two long-standing event professionals, Myka Haddad and Danielle Rowe, with thirty years of combined experience decorating for corporate and private gatherings in the Bay Area. At Bash, we love playing in non-traditional spaces: warehouses, historic spaces, outdoor settings...bring it on! To help set the tone, and warm up the space, we love incorporating greenery into our vision and design. The Plant Library can bring in high-quality, on-brand foliage to your next event.
Shelter Co. has a certain quality that will make you want to scream - Yes, I do want to go camping! Even if you’re not a camper, you will want to become a glamper! The business is owned and operated by wife and husband team Kelsey and Mike Sheofsky. We would really like to give a shout-out to thet many outstanding women who are team leaders at Shelter Co. and make the day-to-day operations happen with ease. One of our most recent collaborations with them had us turning an indoor executive meeting space into outdoor tents in a festival parking lot providing a breath of fresh air with those important pop-up meetings!
